Consolidating CPG agency data in global reports customized by banner.

Retail chains are being confronted with unprecedented changes. While retailers originate as local businesses, the last few decades have seen a remarkable turn toward internationalization in this industry. Retailers are called to develop a fast scaling global organizations in charge of defining multi-country strategies to push the business expansion across regional markets.

The global team of a French local retailer was struggling to control part of their business after expanding operations to another continent. Performance benchmarks were difficult to obtain and measure against total market trends, and the lack of consumer data from a different continent was making it hard to define a central control system.

The relevant data assets were available, but sitting across separate solutions. The team dedicated some of their time to try and consolidate this data into a single view, but the job was time-consuming, and the results were poor. The breadth and depth of information available was huge, with over 20 CPG categories, and no one in-house had the specific skill set and tools necessary to manage such integration in an efficient manner.

Redslim organized and consolidated their agency data, integrating it into cross-country reports, customized to their different banners. The reports are now delivered to the global organization on a regular basis, providing data to support an informed decision-making process.
