When one of our clients was working on their data-lake strategy, their IT team needed to have a deeper understanding of the data feeds available across their markets, how they were used, and what peculiarities they had.
BCG and Redslim partnered together with the client organization to define standard processes and data structures recommendations. We brought light to the obscure processes hidden behind market data. We helped locating them and finding the most efficient ingestion processes. Interviews across regional Consumer and Marketing Insights teams helped addressing their needs and pain-points, and advising how they should be tackled by the data-lake strategy.
With Redslim’s support, the data lake program was kicked off and it included market data from the start; along with clear objectives on how it should be used and rules for how it should be managed.
